king hob has come over the Atlantic like a cold wind, bringing a lush and foggy sound to the shores of the Great White North.

Primarily influenced by the folk stylings of Scotland’s traditional musicians, king hob also takes inspiration from acts like Chelsea Wolfe, Thom Yorke and Justin Vernon. This combines to form a sound that is settled in acoustic tradition, but charged with an eerie modernity, and lyrics to chill bones.

With haunting synths, bluesy guitar grooves, and rattling, skittish drum beats, king hob delivers a show that is moving, unnerving, and ambient – all wrapped in a Celtic knot.
